Daimian Hines

Daimian S. Hines, AIA, NOMA, is a visionary design architect and an emerging critical voice within the design community. His projects and pursuits are centered on enhancing communities and cultures. After returning to Houston from practicing in Southeast Asia, Daimian founded Hines Architecture + Design with the mission of challenging the form and focus of a traditional minority firm, envisioning and building a mission-driven global practice from the outset.

As the founding Principal, Daimian provides exceptional leadership and a meticulous approach to design innovation. With over two decades of experience delivering large-scale projects globally, he brings a wealth of expertise in conceptualization, project planning, master planning, feasibility assessments, design, and project delivery. Known for his commitment to client-focused outcomes, Daimian continues to elevate the field through his dedication and forward-thinking approach.

He is a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and has been previously accredited by Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED). In addition, Daimian actively serves on several notable boards, contributing his expertise to the advancement of design and community development.
